As I was taking my kids to school today and thought to my self.. WHAT AM I DOING!! I am a single mom, the only care taker for my ailing mother, and have been unemployed since April. I have never been on the unemployed train this long..
I apply for no less than 3 jobs a day, have a bachelor degree and exceptional customer service and managerial skills.. SO WHY am I still unemployed.. I have pounded the pavement til my feet hurt, scrolled the internet, and signed on with no less that 3 employment agencies.. And still NOT A SINGLE interview..
So again today I thought to myself, is this what the economy has come too?? That an educated, smart, woman can not land a job.. I'm over qualified for warehouse work, brewing coffee at our local shop, and even for a checker at our shopping centers.
Thinking that I need a way to vent, and in the process hopefully find what path I should be on..
